This image looks bogus! The US constitution contains a solemn oath that there will never be US paper money worth more than 100 USD apiece, so how come the last item in the depicted lot is an 5000 USD Uncle Sam?
(The very small maximum denomination allowed is the reason everybody uses ATM cards in the US of America, as it is essentialy impossible to buy a new car with cash, for example. Trying to buy anything with a bagpack of 100 dollar bills gets reported to the FBI. USA even wants the EU to ban the 200 and 500 euro bills to int'l fight drug trade and trafficking of amrs.) 82.131.210.163 (talk) 11:09, 11 June 2012 (UTC)
- The USD 5000 bills are in circulation, but that is more official than actual. It is internal use only within the Government. The USA cant do anything about € banknotes, ecxept to ban them from circulation in the US, which is practicaly a fact already. --Stat-ist-ikk (talk) 11:30, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
