If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. the - If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
- If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

Uncontroversial technical requests
- IBM ThinkPad 701 → IBM ThinkPad 701C (currently a redirect back to IBM ThinkPad 701) (move · discuss) – 701C is the known name for this model, used by IBM, media, and the general public. TheForgottenKing (talk) 04:26, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Biria people (currently a redirect to Birri Gubba) → Birri Gubba (move · discuss) – Modern usage, as cited. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 03:28, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Noriko Kinohara (currently a redirect to Yoshiko Kinohara) → Yoshiko Kinohara (move · discuss) – correct spell of name is present on various sources, for example YouTube interviews with the person herself, magazine scans – Capy jc (talk)
- Chang Chia-hang (currently a redirect to Godtone) → Asiagodtone (currently a redirect instead to Godtone) (move · discuss) – WP:COMMONNAME. – Pbrks (t • c) 16:34, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
- The move you're asking for is probably a good idea, but the article doesn't cite any English-language sources. It would be safer to make this move once the name you propose is backed by proper sources. Dr. Vogel (talk) 00:50, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- Draft:Jewface (currently a redirect to Jewface) → Jewface (move · discuss) – move/create over redirect to section; the section text has been copied to the new article text, which has also been expanded upon Kingsif (talk) 02:20, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- Brit Award for British Single (currently a redirect to Brit Award for Song of the Year) → Brit Award for Song of the Year (move · discuss) – For 2022, owner BRIT Awards Ltd changed the name they use for this award Jmg38 (talk) 07:09, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Jmg38, is this the new WP:COMMONNAME though yet? -Kj cheetham (talk) 14:14, 3 May 2022 (UTC)

Contested technical requests
- Goulburn, New South Wales (currently a redirect to Goulburn) → Goulburn (move · discuss) – WP:COMMONNAME, in line with other Australian regional cities; Albury, Cooma, Dubbo, Wagga Wagga etc. Airtone22 (talk) 02:14, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Airtone22: This is not an uncontroversial request given the previous failed move proposal at Talk:Goulburn, New South Wales#Requested move 3 March 2018. A new move discussion would be needed in this case. DanCherek (talk) 02:24, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
Requests to revert undiscussed moves
- Burnout (disambiguation) (currently a redirect to Burnout) → Burnout (move · discuss) – There is no primary topic for this word, therefore the move was incorrect and would require discussion ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 04:01, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- I think most if not all of the items listed in the dab page are named so because of occupational burnout. I think you're right that an RM is needed. Personally, my feeling is it's probably best either leave things as they are now, or possibly move occupational burnout to just burnout (after an RM, of course). Dr. Vogel (talk) 12:17, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- Just noting that the move in question was performed in February 2021. -- Vaulter 16:52, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
- Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport (currently a redirect to Madeira Airport) → Madeira Airport (move · discuss) – This undiscussed move from 2020 [1] was twice contested before (in 2018 and 2016). As mentioned when this was last contested, "Madeira Airport" is the clear common name, with there being no mentions of this alleged official name on the airport's website. 157.157.113.120 (talk) 13:23, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
