The name of this template is a contradiction in terms. The term "launch vehicle" refers primarily to an American rocket, and whilst several other countries have adopted this term (particularly India), Russia still uses the term "Carrier rocket". The only exception to this that I am aware of is ISC Kosmatros. Therefore, the template should be renamed to reflect something that actually exists. --GW_SimulationsUser Page | Talk 21:57, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Renaming of the Template

This template is still named as Russian but contains Ukrainian launch systems also (even if origin is USSR). Can it be renamed as "Former Soviet states Launch Systems" OR "Soviet, Russian and Ukrainian Launch Systems"? Or something similar? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hammer5000 (talkcontribs) 16:13, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
