I am IntoThinAir. I am autopatrolled, a reviewer, a rollbacker, and a new page reviewer here. My real name is Jinkinson Smith. My username here was Jinkinson from January 27, 2013 (when I created this account) until November 12, 2014, when I had it changed to Everymorning. I was getting tired of being called Jinkinson in the real world and on the Internet, and I decided that I would change my username to be the name of a song I liked (an idea I got from TenPoundHammer). I randomly chose the Sugar Ray song Every Morning. On July 9, 2018, I got tired of my username (Everymorning) and so had it changed again to IntoThinAir, which I chose just because I thought it sounded cool. But the good news for anyone confused by these changes is I have no intention of changing my username again - it seems the "grass is always greener" on the side of the username you had before.

I previously edited anonymously and under the account JPayneSmith (to which I lost the password, so I created a new account). The chronology of my editing before this account goes something like this:

  • 2007–early 2009 - Occasional anonymous editing
  • March 1, 2009 - First edit on JPayneSmith account
  • April 29, 2009 - Last edit on JPayneSmith account
  • 2011–2012 - Occasional anonymous editing, begin editing on RationalWiki (where I created my account, User:Jinx, in 2012)
  • January 27, 2013 - Created this account, made first edit the same day.

Wikimania!

I went to Wikimania in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in August 2017. I met lots of editors for the first time, many of whom I had previously only known by their usernames. The editors I met there whose usernames I already knew included Gamaliel, GorillaWarfare, Headbomb, DGG, MusikAnimal, BlueRasberry, Keilana, EpochFail, and many others. It was a lot of fun.
