Hello. I joined Wikipedia in 2009. The first article I ever edited was Arthur Cravan (poet, boxer, troublemaker), after I wrote a paper about him in college. I typically contribute to articles related to history, cultural heritage, and the arts. I enjoy reading Wikipedia, and I often edit articles I happen to be reading.

Previous activities

From 2012 to 2014, I contributed heavily to the Lists of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States‎, and I still contribute intermittently.

In 2020 I created the article Bruce Johnson (minister) after learning about Johnson in the 2019 documentary film The First Rainbow Coalition by Ray Santisteban. Johnson was a Methodist minister who worked closely with the Young Lords in Chicago before he and his wife were murdered in their home in 1969.

In 2020 I created the category Self-taught artists (as distinct from Outsider artists, Naïve painters, and Folk artists).

I have participated in the following Wikipedia Edit-a-thons:

Future plans

  • I'd like to start an article for Nexus Press, which operated from 1976 to 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Wikimedia Commons

I contribute images relating to printmaking, book arts, and other topics to the Wikimedia Commons. Here are some of my contributions:
