Reconstructed portrait of the "Lady in the Well", Alalakh, near present-day Antakya, Türkiye. This woman was mysteriously thrown to her death at the bottom of a well circa 1600 BCE. She was genetically foreign to the area; despite most samples from Alalakh clustering with contemporary Levantine populations, the Lady in the Well's origins lay in what is now Uzbekistan, and she is distantly related to modern-day Pakistanis. Intriguingly, I share a significant amount of DNA with her.
