How to categorize a pharmacology-related article
Drugs
- The full categorization scheme for pharmacology-related content may be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Pharmacology/Categorization/Scheme.
- An ATC code to category conversion table is at Wikipedia:WikiProject Pharmacology/Categorization/Tables.
- All drug articles should be categorized in a subcategory of Category:Drugs by mechanism of action.
- Articles pertaining to drugs with ATC codes should be categorized in a subcategory of Category:Drugs by target organ system.[1][2]
- Articles pertaining to drugs without ATC codes should be categorized... [3]
Guidelines for pharmacology-related category pages
All pharmacology-related categories should have a description placed at the top of the page discussing the scope and contents of the category. For more information on category descriptions, please see Wikipedia:Categorization for additional details. Editors may also note the following guidelines:
- Within each of the ATC mirroring subcategories of Category:Drugs by target organ system should be categorized the respective ATC code page(s).[4]
- All of the ATC mirroring subcategories of Category:Drugs by target organ system should utilize the {{ATC category}} banner.
