Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Dollhouse Characters a different title by copying its content and pasting it into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other articles that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. 月 (Moon)と暁 (Sunrise) 12:34, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Bad Blood (2010 film), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.arclightfilms.com/labels/easternlight/new_films/bad-blood.php. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. Hello FrankRizzo2006! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 873 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

Frank, I noticed that you have expanded directors' navigation templates to use where they wrote a screenplay for a film but did not necessarily direct. The three categories of navigation templates that we use in film articles are film series templates, franchise templates, and director templates. We do not provide navigation templates for the cast and crew beyond the director himself because that large number of people would create an excessive number of templates at the end of a single film article. I ask you to limit directors' navigation templates to the directed works. We should instead ensure that directors' other contributions are well-detailed on their individual articles. Please stop making indiscriminate additions to the "studio" field in the infobox. The infobox is an overview, so please use common sense and recognize that most mainstream films have a primary studio behind it. It's excessive to list all the partners; it is of little value to readers and bloats the information. If a partnering production company had a specialized role in working with the primary studio, we can discuss the company and its actions in the article body. The article Star East has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sven Manguard Wha? 02:44, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Edgar Ray Killen into Mississippi Burning. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. Do you happen to have any other sources that we could add to the Christopher Gore (writer) article I just created? FrankRizzo2006, I noticed that you closed down this review, which isn't something a nominator should be doing. I had already pinged Super ninja2, and once the obligatory seven days was over, I was going to pull the plug on it myself on January 26.
Normally, given how little the reviewer wrote and how it didn't address the GA criteria at all, I'd put in to have the page deleted, since it was effectively a non-review. But JerrySa1's addition did bring up a point that should be retained: there are a couple of places where the article text is uncomfortably close to this source. These are best addressed before you go looking for a new reviewer.
In particular, the source's "dramatic rehearsals in the mornings and music rehearsals in the afternoons" phrase should be reworked, as should "a live performance atmosphere for the vocalists to sing to. Each vocal was then recorded live onto a twenty-four track recorder".
It seemed to me that the Reception section had an overabundance of quotes, which can be a problem at GA. Indeed, some of them are so long that they should be formatted as blockquotes (rule of thumb per WP:Blockquote is that any quote 40 words or longer should be in a blockquote). More paraphrasing (but not close paraphrasing) should probably be done to reduce the quote density and length. Best of luck going forward. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:06, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. You nominated an article for evaluation against the good article criteria some time ago, but I noticed you have yet to review an article yourself. Although it's not mandatory, it would be helpful if every user who creates a nomination also reviewed at least one other article, as this would help clear the massive backlog. Reviewing someone else's article can also help you in the long run: every article reviewed brings yours one position closer to the top of the nominations list! If you worked on the article you nominated, chances are you're already familiar with the six good article criteria. It really isn't hard to review, and may take an experienced editor only a few hours to complete. If you have the time and would like to help, please click here, take a moment to figure out which article you'd like to review, then click on its (start review) button. Thank you for reading, and if you need assistance with your review at any point, please feel free to leave a message on my talk page and I'll respond to you as soon as I can. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on The Sparrow (film) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.fcat.es/peliculas/al-asfour/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hey Frank how are you? Can I ask you to take a look at the above article since you have expertise on film-related topics? There are a number of sources listed in the talk page and the film is gaining traction in the award circuit from the news I'm reading. But I don't understand how to structure the content available. Can you help a bit? —IB [ Poke ] 06:07, 10 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Born on the Fourth of July (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Glory (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
