Levashinsky Destrict (Roushie: Левашинский райо́н) is an admeenistrative^[1] an municipal^[2] destrict (raion), ane o the fowerty-ane in Dagestan, Roushie. It is locatit in the centre o the republic. The aurie o the destrict is 830 square kilometer (320 sq mi). Its admeenistrative centre is the landwart locality (a selo) o Levashi.^[1] Population: 70,704 (2010 Census);^[3] 64,371 (2002 Census);^[6] 40,186 (1989 Census).^[7] The population o Levashi accoonts for 14.2% o the destrict's total population.^[3]
