Oliver Sacks
Oliver Wolf Sacks, CBE (9 Julie 1933 – 30 August 2015) wis a Breetish-American neurologist, writer, an amateur chemist. He wis Professor o Neurology at New York University School of Medicine.[1] The 1990 movie Awakenings wis basit on his book whaur he wis playit bi Robin Williams.

Sacks wis born on 9 Julie 1933 in London, England tae a Jewish faimily.[2] He studit at St Paul's School, at The Queen's College, an at Oxford University.
He addressit his homosexuality for the first time in his 2015 autobiography On the Move: A Life.[3]
Sacks wis diagnosit wi terminal liver cancer in Januar 2015.[4] He deit on 30 August 2015 at his home in New York Ceety at the age o 82 frae the disease.[5]
