Dao cạo Hanlon (Tiếng Anh: Hanlon's razor) là một nguyên tắc hoặc quy tắc kinh nghiệm rằng "Không bao giờ quy chụp ý đồ xấu điều gì có thể được giải thích bằng sự ngu dốt" . Được biết dưới vài dạng khác, đây là một lý thuyết triết học để lược bỏ một số giải thích không hay xảy ra cho hành vi con người. Điều này có khả năng được đặt tên dựa trên Robert J. Hanlon, người đã đăng khẳng định này cho một cuốn tuyển tập truyện cười. những khẳng định giống như trên đã được ghi lại từ ít nhất thế kỷ 18.
