Europawahl in Irland 2024
Die Europawahl in Irland 2024 findet am 7. Juni als Teil der EU-weiten Europawahl 2024 statt. Sie wird die zehnte Wahl zum Europäischen Parlament. In Irland werden 14 der 720 Abgeordneten des Europaparlaments gewählt.[1]
Wahlsystem und Wahlkreise
Gewählt wird in Mehrpersonenwahlkreisen mit übertragbarer Einzelstimmgebung. Die Zahl der irischen Abgeordneten ist von 13 auf 14 erhöht worden, die Einteilung bei drei Wahlkreisen (Wahlkreise in der Größe wie bei der Wahl 2014) jedoch bleibt:
