Abdul Raheem Abdulla (Dhivehi: ޢަބްދުއްރަޙީމް ޢަބްދުﷲ) is a Maldivian politician and the Special Advisor to the President of Republic of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu.[1] He is the chairman of People's National Congress.[2][3]
Raheem entered politics around 2014 or earlier where he was the MP representing the People's Alliance party (PA), headed by ex-President Abdulla Yameen.[4] In 2014, he was a parliament member (MP) representing the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) in Fonadhoo in the 18th People's Majlis (parliament).[5] He was also former Vice-President of PPM and one of the founding members of the People's National Congress (PNC),[6] which he later became the chairperson.[3] On 17 November 2023, he was appointed as the Special Advisor to the President..[1]
