Early life and Professional career

In 2004, she collaborated with her mother, Carol Aebersold,^[5] on a book about their family custom of having a Scout Elf.^[6]^[7]

She is author of The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition,^[4]^[8] Extraordinary Noorah: Santa’s Magical Arctic Fox.^[9] The Elf on the Shelf's Night Before Christmas^[10] and Elf Pets: A Reindeer Tradition.^[11]

In addition to co-authoring^[12] The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition^[13]^[7] with her mother,^[14] Chanda Bell is co-CEO of CCA and B, LLC dba The Lumistella Company as of 2005.^[15]^[16]

In 2017, Bell co-founded Scout Elf Productions(TM).^[17]^[18]
