Harlal Jat (Siyag) (1951 - 1994), born on April 30, 1951, in the house of Dhonkla Ram and Miragon Devi in the Ramsar tehsil of the Barmer district in Rajasthan, India.[2]
Murder Case
On June 2, 1994, Harlal, seated by the booking window of the Tilak Bus Stand's Roadways, was fatally shot from behind by a youth named Lal Singh Jogidas from a village.
The highly publicized Harlal Jat murder case from Barmer has finally seen a breakthrough as the accused Lal Singh, alias Loonsingh, who has been on the run for 23 years since escaping parole, was successfully apprehended by Barmer and special teams. Lal Singh, the prime suspect in the daylight murder of Harlal in Barmer 30 years ago in 1994, had been evading capture after being on parole for 23 years.[3]
