Kantemirovsky District (Russian: Кантеми́ровский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,348 square kilometers (907 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Kantemirovka.[1] Population: 32,091 (2021 Census);[7] 38,081 (2010 Russian census);[2] 41,808 (2002 Census);[8] 42,947 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of Kantemirovka accounts for 33.4% of the district's total population.[7]
