Controversy

  • In the wake of Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp's allegations of sexual assault against Kevin Spacey, Intiraymi posted a comment to his Twitter account: "As far as the #KevinSpacey witch hunt liberal pussy nonsense 'He was able 2leave before the accounter went any further' Enough said. #PCcrap". Intiraymi later tweeted a public apology to Rapp in which he stated that he had posted before knowing all the facts, which Rapp accepted. However, this and other derogatory comments and strange images[1] [2] he had been making across multiple social media sites caused a negative reaction among many Star Trek fans, including a Change.org petition asking for him to be left out of any future Star Trek conventions, and to "consider if it would be in the best interest of their company to continue to allow such a person to be associated with the production of any new content." [3] The part of Icheb was recast for the show Star Trek: Picard.
  • On his livestream program "Dangerous Thoughts", Intiraymi has increasingly begun to promote strange conspiracies and beliefs such as drug use, sexual obsession, gnome sightings, and alien saviors/oppressors. [4]
