Moshkovsky District

Moshkovsky District (Russian: Мошко́вский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the thirty in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,591 square kilometers (1,000 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Moshkovo.[1] Population: 39,192 (2010 Census);[3] 41,281 (2002 Census);[7] 41,879 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Moshkovo accounts for 26.1% of the district's total population.[3]
