Nizhnedevitsky District (Russian: Нижнеде́вицкий райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the thirty-two in Voronezh Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,196 square kilometers (462 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Nizhnedevitsk.[1] Population: 17,938 (2021 Census);[7] 20,611 (2010 Russian census);[3] 24,077 (2002 Census);[8] 29,577 (1989 Soviet census).[9] The population of the administrative center accounts for 30.4% of the district's total population.[7]
