Novaya Maka (Russian: Новая Мака; Lezgian: Цlийи Макьар) is a rural locality (a selo) and the administrative centre of Novomakinsky Selsoviet, Suleyman-Stalsky District, Republic of Dagestan, Russia. Population: 3,791 (2021 Census);[2] 4,245 (2002 Census);[3] 2,065 (1989 Soviet census).[4] There are 56 streets.[5]

Geography
Novaya Maka is located 165 km (103 mi) southeast of Makhachkala[6] and 23 km (14 mi) northeast of Kasumkent (the district's administrative centre) by road. Chukhverkent is the nearest rural locality.[7]
