Petushinsky District (Russian: Петуши́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[8] district (raion), one of the sixteen in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,692 square kilometers (653 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the town of Petushki.[2] Population: 59,680 (2021 Census);[10] 68,062 (2010 Russian census);[4] 69,364 (2002 Census);[11] 78,498 (1989 Soviet census).[12] The population of Petushki accounts for 22.3% of the district's total population.[10]
