South American Association of Master Athletes

South American Association of Master Athletes[1] (Spanish: Asociación Sudamericana de Atletas Máster, or ASUDAMA) is a regional body of World Masters Athletics,[2] responsible for organizing masters athletics championship competitions for athletes from the continent of South America.[3] It was founded in Buenos Aires on 15 December, 1979 as Spanish: Asociación Sudamericana de Atletas Veteranos (ASUDAVE).[4] All athletes 35 years of age or older are eligible to compete. The biennial Championships are held in alternate years with the WMA Outdoor Championships.[5][6][7]
