Sudislavsky District (Russian: Судисла́вский район) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kostroma Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,530 square kilometers (590 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Sudislavl.[1] Population: 11,034 (2021 Census);[8] 13,077 (2010 Russian census);[3] 15,184 (2002 Census);[9] 16,407 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Sudislavl accounts for 37.7% of the district's total population.[8]
