if it was a terriroal draft who could 2 different teams draft players from Notre dame? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.225.131.141 (talk) 16:11, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Territorial draftEach AFL team had "territorial rights" to players from its general region for a first draft selection, so that teams could sign players who were known to their fans. These were not "picked" as such, but agreed on by consensus. The first territorial or "bonus" picks for each team were:

Boston Patriots ~ Gerhard Schwedes, HB, SyracuseBuffalo Bills ~ Richie Lucas, QB, Penn StateDallas Texans ~ Don Meredith, QB, SMUDenver Broncos ~ Roger LeClerc, C, TrinityHouston Oilers ~ Billy Cannon, HB, LSULos Angeles Chargers ~ Monty Stickles, E, Notre DameNew York Titans ~ George Izo, QB, Notre DameMinneapolis AFL team 1 ~ Dale Hackbart, QB, Wisconsin

According to the link trinity is Conn how would that be a territorial pick for denver? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.225.131.141 (talk) 19:26, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
