• Reason for the change: The format matters, and if this is meant to be a schedule, it should contain that information. As of now, there's really no indication of the formats.

I have no conflict of interest; it's just that I have no idea where to source this information. A few sources I found seem to conflict each other, and I'm not familiar enough with NASCAR to use the right terms. (Looks like they have a couple of dirt-track races, too; and they used to call these "road course" races, but maybe they don't anymore. And would it be "format" or "track type" or something else? Since NASCAR.com now has Owner Standings on their Cup Series Standings page, should we now include the owners' championship standings section on this article? - Areaseven (talk) 05:11, 6 March 2023 (UTC)

Noticed this was removed from the Note over driver's championship. I was trying to verify, but I'm not even sure what it means. Could someone clarify?

I agree we should modify it, but PL is an essay, not a guideline. It's not a major issue, as it's a list reported as changes occurred. The 2024 article should have less. glman (talk) 15:25, 6 November 2023 (UTC)

This is fair, and I agree. I may loop back around, trying to keep 2024 less messy as it evolves. Some editors have been working on these pages each year for a long time and some bad habits have continued. glman (talk) 15:41, 6 November 2023 (UTC)
