google.com/ads.txt

No citation is given for the claim that "Google has been an active proponent of ads.txt and pushing for faster, widespread adoption by publishers". The link provided only goes to a support page mentioning that people who use Google Ad Manager can also use ads.txt, but Google has not adopted this standard for themself: https://www.google.com/ads.txt, so it seems difficult to argue that they are a proponent of the standard. The page linked to on Google says "We strongly recommend that you use an ads.txt file.", which I think confirms they are an active proponent. Of course, Google don't actually provide their own ads.txt, because they consider themselves special and probably don't sell their services through other online sellers :-) David Malone (talk) 16:44, 1 April 2023 (UTC)
