Radio Advertorials

What about those product/service advertisements on the radio (America and probably others) that sound like discussions and usually feature a DJ from that station? I'm not talking about integration in the show, but rather an often replayed "testimonial". In particular, I've noticed frequent promotion of cell phone stores, mattress stores, auto insurance and cable/satellite providers. Would we consider these to be advertorials? If so, the fact that this is so common may warrant particular mention. This addition would help people to identify advertorials that they've heard and generate an overall better understanding and sensitivity of advertorials.
