Time Traveler Ai

I moved the reference to Time Traveler Ai up out of the Platonic Sex section, since the former was first published (in Japanese) back in 1994-5, well before the latter. Mahousu 21:33, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Ai's Real Name

Older versions of this page gave Ai's real name as 石井光子 (Ishii Mitsuko). This was removed, since it appears (from, e.g., the Japanese Wikipedia page) that that was actually her stage name at her singing debut. The current version of the Japanese page gives her real name as 大久保松江 (Ookubo Matsue), though this might not be correct either; most other online sources give it as 大久保松恵 (also Ookubo Matsue, but with a different kanji). I couldn't find anything that looked like a very solid reference, though, so I left that part alone for now. Mahousu 22:56, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Death

They still don't know exact time of her death. So I changed to December ? from December 24th which is the date when the media reported her death. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.22.1.143 (talk) 14:15, 25 December 2008 (UTC)

What is god's name is "adult-onset heart attack"?!? Heart attacks "onset" whenever they happen! The vast majority are "adult-onset" - this sounds like something that is either poorly translated or just plain made up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.184.95.53 (talk) 18:59, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

I was thinking the same thing. A simple Google search didn't come back with ANY links regarding 'adult-onset heart attack'. Lot's of links on how to PREVENT a heart attack, what to do if you HAVE a heart attack, what a heart attack IS, but not a bloody thing about this mysterious condition. Nonpoint74 (talk) 20:09, 26 December 2008 (UTC)
Yup, a heart attack is an event, not a condition. I've reworded the text to remove "adult-onset". Even if it were a quote from someone, it sounds so silly I don't think we should use it verbatim... Valrith (talk) 20:53, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

Stage Name

It says in the Japanese entry that her name "Ai" was chosen by the matron of one of the hostess bars that she worked in, not by a fan survey as stated here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 218.223.197.215 (talk) 12:19, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

WPJ Commentary

I assessed the article C-class for WP:Japan. The article states that an English translation of her autobiography was in the works, as of 2004. Was it ever done? If someone can answer that question, and update anything else in the article accordingly, I'd be happy to change the assessment to B-Class. Boneyard90 (talk) 14:27, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
