Pre 1936 "Awards"

Can someone please explain how and when the pre-1936 champions were selected?Tigerboy1966 (talk) 00:04, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

As you can see I've divided the list into the actual champions and those who were named retrospectively. I haven't removed anything or changed anything else. I hope I'm not annoying anyone, but the list as it stood was misleading.Tigerboy1966 (talk) 00:59, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Found this DRF article [1] which may be where some of the pre 1936 rankings come from. Froggerlaura ^ribbit 06:49, 29 June 2014 (UTC)
