AmicusAmicus (trade union) followed by Amicus (disambiguation)AmicusRationale: I'm just passing through here but as "Amicus" relates to six different articles I think it makes sense to have Amicus lead directly to the disambiguation page, rather than an article about the British trade union. --172.145.66.250 21:16, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

Biggest private sector?

It is incorrect to call Amicus the "biggest" "private sector" union. Unite is not a private-sector union, but one which organizes most greatly within private industry and this is where most of its membership are based. However, Unite has a large NHS contingent including most NHS biomedical and pathology staff, plus Health Visitors.

AmicusAmicus (trade union) – A defunct trade union that only lasted for 6 years is not the WP:PTOPIC for "Amicus". See page views for related topics. feminist (talk) 15:47, 16 August 2019 (UTC)

  • Weak support Amicus curiae gets over 24x the views of the trade union but its a PTM, the charity gets less than a 6th of the views. A Google search returns more results for the charity but that's probably because its current. Presumably you are proposing no primary topic (meaning moving Amicus (disambiguation) to the base name) which I think makes sense. Crouch, Swale (talk) 16:16, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Support per nom and move dab page to base name. Far greater reader interest in Amicus Productions which sources often refer to as just "Amicus": [1], [2]. PC78 (talk) 20:11, 16 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Support, no clear primary topic. —Xezbeth (talk) 15:33, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Support Looking at source links to Amicus, a lot of them are mis-targeted (usually with the actual intended target being Amicus curiae), which is another good piece of evidence that this should not be ptopic. Colin M (talk) 14:50, 19 August 2019 (UTC)
