Plot

I am going to add onto the incomplete plot, this may involve too much detail but it is a complex series of events to follow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cerdic1096 (talk • contribs) 03:54, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

I will make a few amendments before adding it, if anyone feels it is too long then feel free to edit it down. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cerdic1096 (talk • contribs) 04:19, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

The plot was not "incomplete", and there was nothing necessary or "complex" about the ridiculous blow-by-blow added here and here. The purpose of a plot synopsis is to explain to a reader the plot. That's it. It is not to replicate the feeling of watching the film, the way a novel does. A summarized explanation of the story, and where applicable, any character arcs, is all it is. Anything not necessary for a reader's understanding of the plot, including details like snowball fights, lines of dialogue like "stay safe", and so forth, is useless overkill. You yourself indicated that you were aware of this in this edit summary, yet you left all that crap in anyway. Please learn how to write a synopsis before you make edits like this. And while you're at it, learn WP:TONE, MOS:WE, and other relevant policies and guidelines. Nightscream (talk) 20:40, 10 February 2018 (UTC)

Setting

I am not sure if it is set in canada or america, though filmed in canada, the flags on the police uniforms are american flags — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cerdic1096 (talk • contribs) 04:36, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

They talk about getting the drugs across the border - could that be the US - Canadian border ? If not what ? Are there places where the border is like that ? -- Beardo (talk) 04:07, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

Canadian film?

Why is this film classified as Canadian? Is there a criteria for such a designation? As far as I can tell the movie has an American director, American actors, American writers, American production money, but it's filmed in Newfoundland. Is location the only consideration? By all appearances the movie is a very American story. 24.141.53.252 (talk) 00:14, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
