Do you think we should place info for all versions here, or create Bust of Abraham Lincoln (White House) and Bust of Abraham Lincoln (U.S Capitol) if "Borglum" is not the best disambiguator? ---Another Believer(Talk) 04:54, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
@Another Believer: Thanks for the ping! My first thought was that this is a "Bust of Winston Churchill (Epstein)"–type situation, and that MOS:ART/MULTI would apply. (I had to create that shortcut just now.) So the article should cover all the versions, but under what title is another question. I see that the analogy with the Epstein isn't exact because the marble bust in the Capitol is the prime version and therefore, it could be argued, the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. But given a choice between Bust of Abraham Lincoln (U.S. Capitol) for all the versions or Bust of Abraham Lincoln (Borglum) for all the versions, it's clear that the second is less open to misinterpretation. I think the title and scope should remain as they are, Bust of Abraham Lincoln (White House) and Bust of Abraham Lincoln (U.S Capitol) should be redirects, and the Commons link should be to this category. Pinging Johnbod for a second opinion. Ham II (talk) 08:24, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
I agree. Only the Capitol one is an original stone carving, with the rest castings. Johnbod (talk) 15:19, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
@Ham II and Johnbod: OK, thanks both for weighing in. Sounds like we'll leave the article title alone then. ---Another Believer(Talk) 15:43, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Also, I've added a bunch of additional categories based on the casts in Illinois, NYC, California, and the White House. ---Another Believer(Talk) 15:48, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
