I think it obvious to anyone of sound mind that we are not talking about the episode's duration. From there, the discussion descends ignominiously into the banal. Any further discussion could happen on OP's talk page, not that I think any good would come of it. OP should take note that what might seem witty to some is merely puerile to others.

The article says this is the twenty-second episode of the second season. I know it's WP:Original research and so on, but I've seen every episode of the series and all of them were much longer, like an hour (counting commercials). I don't see how Capt. Kirk would have time to fall in love with even one beautiful alien in twenty seconds, much less travel to another galaxy and back. E Eng 10:37, 1 October 2020 (UTC)

Not sure if you're joking or not... you could be whooshing us all. But in case you're serious: It is the 22nd sequential episode. 1st episode, 2nd episode etc., etc., 22nd (spelled "twenty-second") episode. Sir Rhosis (talk) 21:08, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
I get that all, but I'm still puzzled about the twenty seconds. Assuming the standard three-act structure, that's only six seconds per act plus two seconds for commercials. Perhaps it reflects some kind of time compression that occurs at warp speeds or something. We should talk about it over drinks, Sir Rhosis, and in the meantime you might take a look at my user page, from which you'll readily see that I'm a completely serious person at all times. Strongly agree. I answered the poster, though I doubted his sincerity, by assuming perhaps English was not his native language, but after reading his response I believe he is simply pulling our legs. Delete it all. Sir Rhosis (talk) 02:15, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
