Some editors keep removing the following phrase from this page: It is sometimes nicknamed the 'Rubber Bible' or the 'Rubber Book', as CRC originally stood for "Chemical Rubber Company". These editors should stop removing the phrase and discuss their objections here so that we can resolve the disagreement regarding this phrase. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Crath (talk • contribs) 13:41, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
I've added a reference for "Rubber Bible". Previous removals seemed justified, as I've also found the claim dubious (prior to finding this reference). Not sure about "Rubber Book". Attomir (talk) 22:58, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

the book comes in two forms, a large desk volume, similar to an un abridged dictionary, and a small portable form, called iirc the compact printed on very hiQ thin paper — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.245.17.105 (talk) 14:41, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
