"Experiments using Calorimeters" section unnecessary

Nearly all major HEP experiments use calorimeters. The list should either be completed (and therefore rather longish) or removed. As it is, it tacitly implies that CDF, D0, STAR, PHENIX, ZEUS, CLEO-c, etc, etc, etc, do not use calorimeters, which is in fact false. The Wilschon 22:54, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Broken External Links

The first external link, to "The Particle Detector BriefBook" is old & broken. Searching the CERN site for a suitable replacement yields this page: http://physics.web.cern.ch/Physics/ParticleDetector/BriefBook/ --- but the new link there "Enter the [...]" is broken too (DNS failure). It only seems possible to link to somewhere where the physical book can be purchased.

Info

This article is missing at least one example of the basic design and construction of calorimeter, materials used, etcAlso, a mention of the different types should be made. 181.74.137.220 (talk) 04:17, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
