Note that in the Causes section, it says that agriculture uses 80-90% of the area's water. Elsewhere in the article where it talks of the specific decrease of human use of water, it says that agricultural use also went down (but doesn't say by how much). These statistics seems important - but if you look at the source article for the "80-90%", it is a general estimate for the world, not specific to the Cape Town area. So it's probably better to find a better statistic- but it is important to have the breakdown if indeed agriculture is using the vast majority of the water but the focus is mainly on the human use. Proposing article name change to "Cape Town water crisis 2015-2018"

Should we perhaps change the name of the article to "Cape Town water crisis 2015-2018"? Discott what do you think? - Dumbassman (talk) 15:41, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

Sounds good to me.--Discott (talk) 19:55, 29 December 2018 (UTC)

Subject-verb disagreement in "Impact"

″The water crisis have had extensive economic, health and safety impacts. It is clear that the provision of municipal water for irrigation and urban use have positive externalities in the form of food security, public health, and overall stability.″69.113.151.63 (talk) 20:41, 18 July 2019 (UTC)corpho

Fixed - and changed the paragraph to past tense. Zaian (talk) 06:31, 19 July 2019 (UTC)

Impact on building codes?

Did this crisis result in any changes to the building codes in Cape Town to help reduce water use, e.g. requiring water efficient toilets, stipulating grey water reuse systems, or rain barrels? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulgush (talkcontribs) 18:12, 5 November 2020 (UTC)
