Notability query

The facts that this person has a recognised botanical abbreviation, and is the author of a valid zoological specific epithet, are sufficient to establish notability. Maias (talk) 07:20, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

I can understand the "notablility" of a botanical name, but that in mind is no where near enough for this article to remain. Simply having a botanical abbreviation is not enough to make the person, nor this page, acceptable to remain here. By all means, pull the tag if you would like to, but really, with no references, no sources other than said abbreviation, this seriously needs to come down.--EmperorofPeopleEverywhere (talk) 07:24, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
