Chucho's Steps was a Music good articles nominee, but did not meet the good article criteria at the time. There may be suggestions below for improving the article. Once these issues have been addressed, the article can be renominated. Editors may also seek a reassessment of the decision if they believe there was a mistake. | ||||||||||

A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on April 3, 2011. The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that "Zawinul's Mambo" from the Grammy winning Chucho's Steps was dedicated to Joe Zawinul who heard a recording of it before he died? |

General notes
- Lead
"is an album released" - however, in the infobox, there was a previous album released by him. Was this the second, third, fourth, etc., album?
- Overview
I don't think this sentence is really needed in this section (The other nominees in the category were Tango Grill by Pablo Aslan, Second Chance by Hector Martignon, Psychedelic Blues by Poncho Sanchez, and ¡Bien Bien! by the Wayne Wallace Latin Jazz Quintet)
- The Band
There's no period. Try re-wording or splitting this huge sentence in half.
- Selected tracks
01. Link opening track.
- Reception
"In The Washington Post Mike Joyce called the album a "keyboard tour de force"[1] there's a missing period, before the citation.
- Track listing
Try going with this template Template:Track listing so it can be a bit easier for the reader.
- Credits
There's no source here. Example of a GA song article Amor Prohibido (song) with an example of a source that can be used here.
Final notes
The article seems ok to me, however, its somewhat short. I'm going to put this article On hold for seven days, until further development can be made and address the issues that I had stated. Maybe adding more reviews, in selected tracks try adding all the songs (if possible) and add relevant information about them that can help expand the article just a tiny bit. Also maybe adding a sample can help as well. Good luck, AJona1992 (talk) 19:38, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
