The article appears to lack sources from various points of view. The Introduction and Controversy sections appear to contain weasel and loaded words. Rewording and additional sources would help the neutrality issue. Michelleapc (talk) 16:00, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

Why I re-added "self-described" before "imam" / Legitimacy

I was going to ask "who ordained Daayiee Abdullah as an imam?" but, apparently, imams don't get ordained. He was kicked out of Islamic graduate school because they found out that he is gay. --TheCockroach (talk) 04:11, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
