Request to Update to Current Positions/Titles
- What I think should be changed (include citations): The opening paragraph is outdated - would an editor be able to update his current title and positions to provide more factual information for readers?
Daniel Hilferty currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Comcast Spectacor and Governor of the Philadelphia Flyers for the National Hockey League.
For additional context, I suggest the below (cited) sentences to replace the rest of the first outdated paragraph, which currently provides detail on Independence Blue Cross:
Prior to joining Comcast Spectacor, Hilferty led Philadelphia's successful bid to be a host city for the FIFA World Cup 2026. He continues to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors of Philadelphia Soccer 2026.
Hilferty served as the president and CEO of Independence Blue Cross from 2010-2020. Prior to 2010, he was president and chief executive officer of AmeriHealth Caritas. In June 2022, he launched the healthcare consulting firm Dune View Strategies.

- What I think should be changed: The opening paragraph is outdated - would an editor be able to consider this additional information? The language has been updated and linked per previous feedback from an editor. (As a link had been requested, please note there is no Wiki page for Philadelphia Soccer 2026). Suggested additions:

I've implemented the sections which needed clarification from my previous review and where those clarifications were provided. In the situation where there was no WikiLink provided, that was not implemented. Please note that the article did not have a seperate lead section. When articles are not large enough to have a lead section, information is included chronologically in the body of the article. Please also note that information that was asked to be included had to be placed in the article around previously existing text This previously existing text may not flow completely with areas of the new proposed text. for example the career section does not end with the appointments in 2023 rather it ends with the proposed information because the proposed information used terms such as "prior to working at Comcast the subject worked here" etc., which necessitated placing the proposed text after the section of the article which initially talked about Comcast. Regarding Dan's ongoing role with Philadelphia Soccer 2026 (proposed "He continues to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors of Philadelphia Soccer 2026"), I see that edit was declined because there is no wikilink to Philadelphia Soccer 2026. There's no wikipage for that yet, but it is a significant enough organization to make the news. Would you consider re-adding that edit, with this news story as citation? Link: [1]

- What I think should be changed: After citation 11, could an editor add, "And continues to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors of Philadelphia Soccer 2026."
- Why it should be changed: This is a major and ongoing role for Hilferty. Although there is not currently a Wikipedia page for Philadelphia Soccer 2026, it continues to be referenced regularly in the news.
