The prothesis link in the article goes to a disambiguation page with three possibilities, none of which seem to apply to this article: two are basically for alternate spellings of prosthesis and the other refers to preparation of bread and wine for the Eucharist. So this link needs to be (a) removed, (b) linked to an appropriate article, or (c) explained in this article. Since I don't know what prothesis is, someone else will need to decide which of these actions is appropriate and carry it out. But the current link is simply wrong as is. -Fenevad (talk) 10:50, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

Rename

We should change the Cat name to "Dipylon Painter". The Dipylon Master was an Sculpturer (manufactured the "Kuros of the Holy Gate"). Also Boardman ("Early Greek Vase Painting" called him "Painter". Marcus Cyron (talk) 03:03, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

A google and a google scholar search reveals more entries for "Dipylon Master" than "Dipylon Painter". Common usage (as well as common sense) is to be preferred. The same would apply to the Euphronios krater. Twospoonfuls (ειπέ) 10:16, 1 November 2008 (UTC)

Name vases

This page should include links to full articles on the Dipylon Amphora and Dipylon Krater (the two most famous vases supposedly made by this painter). If those pages do not yet exist, someone should make them! Jpaga (talk) 15:14, 18 September 2017 (UTC)Jpaga

peer review edit/suggestions

The lead section is easy to understand. There is a clear structure to the article due to it being fairly short. I would suggest including more information on the artworks mentioned in the article. I think this would give it some balanced coverage to the article. It is neutral content and has reliable sources. This article really just needs more content and It will be great.
