Quote from Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Icons#Flags (emphasis mine):

Flag icons may be relevant in some subject areas, where the subject officially represents that country or nationality – such as military units or national sports teams. In lists or tables, flag icons may be relevant when such representation of different subjects is pertinent to the purpose of the list or table itself.

Words as the primary means of communication should be given greater precedence over flags, and flags should not change the expected style or layout of infoboxes or lists to the detriment of words.

Generally, flag icons should not be used in infoboxes, even when there is a "country", "nationality" or equivalent field: they could be unnecessarily distracting and might give undue prominence to one field among many.

Since LYMEC Bureau members do not represent their countries officially (or in any other capacity), I've gone ahead and removed the flag icons. I also removed them from the infobox for the reason outlined in our MoS.--Leptictidium (mt) 07:51, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
