Is Hagerty the only person of consequence to attend ECHS? He is a republican and he didn't even graduate from there. I however did graduate from ECHS. I don't have too many good memories of that institution. There was aweful illness in my family and no one -- not the drunken guidence councelor Mrs. Scrivane nor the home room teacher nor anyone gave a damn. I heard that once I graduated the school fell on hard times -- that is because the Board of Ed never addresses the real issue of why kids don't learn and are violent -- it's the capitalist economy stupid! That and the fact that the teachers themselves do not believe in democracy and are nver critical of the government or leaders who are much more violent than some kid in the Bronx. ° ≈ ≠ ≤ ≥ ± − × ÷ ← → · § Ming

There must be other notable alumni;what makes an alumni notable? Political power? How about contributions to their community and their profession? If there is an alumni association, they ought to put ogether those ECHS graduates who went on to contribute to their community and the scoiety. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.108.129.10 (talk) 14:58, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
