Additional data

The article appears to take a very particular view of the service history of the Flamborough, only mentioning her service in North America and implying that she was inactive for the rest of the 40+ years she was in service. For example, it stated that there was no record of service prior to 1711, when there are full records of her service from 1707 onwards. It also failed to give any technical details, e.g. of the vessel's measurements and armament. I have expanded the article to include more detail. Rif Winfield (talk) 22:21, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Articles are only as good as the sources available to those who edit them. Thanks for adding additional material to the article. As a very minor point, it would be good to include an inline citation for the 1707-1711 details as the source at the end of the para (the "In Defence of the Scottish maritime interest" one) is for 1711 material only. Joseph Hamar

@Euryalus:: You have Hamar as having died before captaining HMS Adventure (1741). Have reversed this as he died in 1773 after having captained Adventure and then HMS Eagle (1745) [1][2] ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 07:56, 8 December 2018 (UTC)

@Hydronium Hydroxide: hmm, thanks for the message, I'll go check the source. -- Euryalus (talk) 10:21, 8 December 2018 (UTC)
