Appropriate examples??

I removed:

  • Weaversdown Light Railway - Not built under the light railway act, but an army narrow gauge railway on the Longmoor site.

Since it is not built under the LRA and this page is explicitly about the LRA and the railways built under it. However I am adding this entry to the List of British Narrow Gauge Railways where it is highly relevant.

I have wanted to show an example of the inclusion of the word 'Light' in a railways name where it was under the Light railway act. I have now found a better example in the Beer Heights Light Railway (7.25 in gauge), but as long as WLR is useful somewhere. Note Longmoor link can be moved to Longmoor Military Railway. Dont many heritage railways operate under the LRA? G-Man * 22:00, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

  • Is it appropriate to include Teifi Valley Railway? Its article suggests it is a preserved narrow gauge line, and makes no mention of the LRA. EdJogg (talk) 12:23, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
