This is right. M. Aemilius Lepidus was pretor in 191 BC and consul in 187 and 175 BC. His date of birth is not reported in the sources, but he was likely to be born around 220-225 BC. The date of his death was 152 BC. --Calabrian 10:03, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

Yes, it would be better to have it as Marcus Aemilius Lepidus (consul 187 BC), as I proposed at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (ancient Romans), under the rule of "first time at highest rank". Dates of offices are the most reliable disambiguators in the Republic - death dates are probably the second most reliable... Stan 17:48, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
