This was not the deadliest school shooting at the time. Check the facts of the Parkland, FL shooting. 17 people died and 17 were injured. 2601:19C:4A02:D66F:ECBA:A6AD:91A9:6E47 (talk) 21:36, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
Under Victims:
"At the time, this incident was the deadliest school shooting in the United States since the 2018 Santa Fe High School shooting.[42]"
The shooting in Santa Fe took place after the Parkland shooting, and because the Santa Fe shooting was deadlier than this one it would be inaccurate to say this shooting was the deadliest since the one in Parkland. XeCyranium (talk) 01:20, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
Yes, this phrase can be understood incorrectly and probably just undue in the para about the victims. My very best wishes (talk) 21:25, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
It likely should be reworded and moved rather than axed entirely. --Super Goku V (talk) 09:33, 15 February 2024 (UTC)

They were convicted but not sentenced. 10-15 years is what the prosecution requested, but their sentence has yet to be determined. 2601:98D:C280:6E60:5DD1:94F3:3593:4F32 (talk) 19:39, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
That doesn't seem to be what the sources in the article say, although perhaps those sources hadn't been added prior to this comment. XeCyranium (talk) 19:10, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
