recent additions

Source on convoys was a redlink in Convoys in World War I (now linked here), also an unpublished memoir by Alfred Faulkner, which describes him as a commander. This makes me doubt whether he was commanding a battle ship at the beginning of the war. It is more likely that he was a commander (i.e. executive officer) in a battleship (which would have been commanded by a captain, not a commander). Peterkingiron (talk) 22:52, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
