Vague about Cuba arrest

This article is really vague about why he was arrested in Cuba. And who is Donald Nixon? Are they still in jail? Academic Challenger 06:54, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

straight to the sandbox for these comments about robert vesco; the sec charged him with 660,000 tax evasion for his dealings with ios. ios was audited in geneve switzerland from sept.1970 until 1972, charging vesco with tax fraud of 660,000. vesco never returned to new jersey or the united states.vesco was from spain. an international financier? he was a very dangerous man and also a man who few people want to persue. the sec opened up a can of worms in the nixon administration with robert vesco.the sec contract was given to lybrand ross brothers&montgomery to do the ios audit in geneve switzerland. in 1968 thru 1972; william casey was sec director for the nixon administration; he was a tax lawyer as well as a cpa. in the reagan administration, mr. casey became cia director. it was in 1982 that vesco was out of places to run& relocated to cuba. Is Vesco still in prison? Tommypowell 13:07, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Vesco reported to have died

According to this item in the New York Times of May 2, 2008, Vesco is reported by what appear to be reliable sources as having died of lung cancer. Clevelander96 (talk) 01:23, 3 May 2008 (UTC)

Slight inaccuracy

The article says " Cornfeld was jailed in Switzerland". Cornfeld was actually acquitted in Switzerland. He spent a year in prison there on remand. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.53.52.143 (talk) 11:47, 28 September 2019 (UTC)
