The editor from the URL has chosen to spell Hokkaido as "Hokkaidu," and later piped a link to Hokkaido. In a Google search, "Hokkaidu" does not come up anywhere as an accepted spelling of the island's name. Was there a reason for it, or was the piped link merely a reinforcement of an error? Looks like an error. Editor likely typed "u" instead of '"o" without putting much thought into it. SlackingViceroy (talk) 17:59, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
I'm positive it was an error. The odd thing is the editor doubled down on it by piping the link. Anyway, thanks for fixing it. Johanna-Hypatia (talk) 20:37, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
